Field Education
Field Education is the signature pedagogy of the social work program. Field practicum I and II is a year-long, 450-hour internship (225 per semester) where you, under professional supervision, apply learning to a social service setting in order to be fully prepared for beginning level generalist social work practice. The BSW Field Director works collaboratively with you to ensure a fourth year field placement. Planning for field begins in the spring of your third year.
